The data controller is Ionis Srl, Via Martiri della Libertà 13, 70010 Locorotondo (BA), Italy, VAT no. IT02178500738. Telephone: +39 080 528 2664. For information or to exercise your rights, write to this address or use the website contact form, mentioning “Privacy” in your message.
Data collected and required fields
The form collects your full name, email address, enquiry topic and message. Company and phone are optional. Marked fields are needed to handle the enquiry; the form cannot be submitted without them. Please do not provide special-category data, bank details or other unnecessary information. Technical services may process IP addresses, navigation data and server logs. The antispam system uses a cryptographic fingerprint of the IP address and submission counts.
Purposes and legal bases
Data are used to answer enquiries about wines and business relationships and to take pre-contractual steps at your request, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other correspondence is handled on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, under point (f). Security and antispam checks protect the website and company systems on the same basis. Any legal obligations are fulfilled under point (c). The checkbox acknowledges this notice; it does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise marketing or profiling.
Processing, recipients and location
Data are processed electronically and, where necessary, on paper, by authorised staff and suppliers supporting hosting, maintenance and email, including Aruba for web hosting. Data are not sold or publicly disclosed. The general Ionis notice states that company records are held in Italy and processing takes place in the European Union. Any transfers outside the European Economic Area require the safeguards provided by Chapter V GDPR and updated information where relevant.
Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the contact and its follow-up. In line with the general Ionis notice, where there is no business relationship or other legitimate need, inactive contact records are not kept beyond 12 months of inactivity. Data required for tax, accounting or the protection of rights are retained for the applicable periods. Logs and technical data are kept as necessary for security, service operation and investigating misuse; hosting retention criteria can be requested from the controller.
Rights and complaints
Where the GDPR conditions are met, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent authority in your Member State. Please use the controller’s contact details above. This website does not perform profiling or automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects.
